Something to do with the fact that it's an old breed I think... I think the roving is quite nice actually. It's softer than the pale stuff - I wish I could remember what it was called. I just came across pictures of Jacobs sheep. They look weird because they can have up to six horns! It kind of freaked me out. It just seemed so WRONG. But they are spotted. Like a brown and white cow, which I thought was really cool! And that cotton candy bamboo looks melt in your mouth soft! Looks like a good haul. :) Beautiful! In order to make the first one sturdier I would have to add something to it or change the stitch pattern. That's why I wanted to see how the felting would work.
